The Nature Action and Transition Rating (NATR) pilot is a guided assessment and learning experience designed to help businesses explore their nature impacts, identify priority actions, and get clear on what “good” looks like.
It’s built to cut through complexity and make nature action accessible, especially for SMEs and suppliers who are feeling lost between TNFD, GBF and incoming expectations from customers and regulators.
This is not a tick-box exercise. The pilot is hands-on, supportive and focused on real-world, achievable progress.
You do not need to be a nature expert. You only need willingness to explore and improve.
Participating businesses will gain:
A clear baseline
A structured, accessible view of your current position across operational impact, value-chain influence, biodiversity support and governance readiness.
Tailored insights
A breakdown of where your biggest opportunities lie as a business of your size and sector.
A practical, no-nonsense action path
Simple, achievable next steps that move you towards nature positive without overwhelming your team.
Guided support
You’ll be walked through the process by Wild Plan, making it easy to understand and complete.
Early-mover advantage
Pilots help shape the final version of NATR and receive early access to future updates, tools and learning resources.
The pilot is designed to be lightweight and realistic for busy teams. It typically includes:
There are no prerequisites, no technical requirements, and no prior knowledge expected.
Most businesses want to take action for nature but don’t know where to start. The pilot gives you:
You’ll also help make NATR more accessible, practical and impactful for thousands of SMEs.
NATR is already being piloted with a range of Irish businesses including organisations in food service, coffee, retail and landscaping.
Early results show strong engagement, clear priority-setting and positive momentum across teams.
